PRE-SCHOOL

In our kindergarten, we do everything to make learning a pleasure. We want your child's first steps into school life to be gentle while respecting his or her rhythm of learning.

Our Pre-School Team

Passionate and dedicated to early childhood learning, our pre-school team provides individual attention to each child, drawing on their experience in the field of education.

Our teachers apply a bilingual pedagogy based on the Montessori method which allows each child to progress at his or her own pace.

 

Friendly & Fun Environment

In pre-school, children learn while having fun, in a harmonious, safe and bright environment. They are given the freedom and space to express themselves fully.

Our classrooms are well ventilated and is well lit by natural light on either side.

Pre-School Program

Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children at l'île aux enfants develop a variety of skills and knowledge in areas like early literacy, mathematics, science, French / English and social skills. We believe that children should have fun while learning and develop through play.  

We deliver our teaching in both English and French while adhering to the following concept :

Themed units that encourage your child’s curiosity, increase confidence, and support self-directed activities
Hands-on experiences designed to boost problem-solving and scientific thinking skills
Languages, speech, discovering writing skills and preparation to become a student
Explore their different senses to perceive, feel, imagine, create.

Open Until 6 PM

Because we know that most of you are working parents, we offer to look after your child until 6pm.  Even during the school holidays.    

Since 2012 these extended hours offer more flexibility to parents.  It easily adapts to their work schedule while allowing their children to benefit from the activities offered by l'île aux enfants.
